I recently became the proud owner of a hoard of angry Orks. Being keen to test them I've had a few small scale battles with my brother. I got my ass handed too me. There are two things I want advice on. How do I fight Tyranids when I want to rely on melee and he has Genestealers and stuff, also where can I go to find others willing to play Warhammer like a games shop but who won't care that I'm pretty young and inexperienced?

welcome! Most Game Stores I've encountered are very friendly, If you do go to a game store, be sure to ask the people who work there/own the store for help in arranging games, as they will tend to point you in the direction of nicer gamers who are more patient than some of the more hardened players who see a new player and want to "help them" by completely crushing them.
