Hi guys, here is the first in my series of Horus Heresy painting tutorials. To begin with I show you how to paint Ultramarines using the citadel range of paints and a few simple techniques. The miniature used in the Mk IV power armour marine from the Betrayal At Calth boxed set.

Feel free to let me know what you thought of the tutorial and the finished miniature.

Nice tutorial!!

I'm curious about painting the miniature without the arm on. It drives me nuts that I can't paint the whole chest piece, but am afraid that if I don't place everything and glue it on at the same time, I won't get it to fit just right after it's all painted up.

Any advice on this?
