Predator on Scum Bob could be argued as somewhat overdoing it, you're giving rerolls to a pilot whose pilot ability is to give a potentially unlimited number of rerolls.

I ran a Scum Bob at my last tourney, and it started off looking very similar to yours. After play testing, it ended up being
Boba Fett, Veteran Instincts, Tactician and Inertial Dampeners, I was running three ships though, so the pressure on points was a little higher, if I'd had the points spare, I think a Mangler Cannon to not only supply crits but deny extra dice at R3 would have been nice.

I've got less experience flying Emon, but my gut reaction was the Autoblaster is a lot of points for something that doesn't seem to offer anything significant to the list, and that those points would be better served on enhancing his bomby goodness.

Something like..

99 points

PILOTS

Emon Azzameen (48)
Firespray-31 (36), Proximity Mines (3), Bombardier (1), Andrasta (0), Conner Net (4), Cluster Mines (4)

Boba Fett (51)
Firespray-31 (39), Veteran Instincts (1), “Mangler” Cannon (4), Tactician (2), Inertial Dampeners (1), Engine Upgrade (4)

As much as I love Emon Azzameen (played the game for a LONG time), he always seems to under perform for me. Conner Nets might make the difference however (last time I gave him a look was before wave 7).

I'd agree on giving Fett either an Engine Upgrade or Expert Handling.

A cannon and a gunner seems a waste - just the gunner is probably enough.

The one time I'd used Boba was with Countermeasures, Glitterstim, Expert Handling and Gunner - the combination of Countermeasures and Glitterstim give you a one-turn 'pop' where you can dodge a LOT of fire. ideally, by the following turn, you're into range 1 and your pilot ability picks up the slack.

I've not played him, but I have played against him, and I think he largely fits in the "fun" category more than the super competitive.

However, much like yourself, I've not flown against him with some of the newer bombs, and as conner nets and cluster bombs are asymmetrical tokens (which wasn't ever the case beforehand IIRC) his ability allows you to play not only with the distance you drop them, but also the orientation, and with the variety on offer now with bombs, he might warrant a closer look.

He's vulnerable to control, as all the bombs I've put on him are "Action" bombs, but the Firespray is an inherently good chassis, so he'll never just be dead weight.

You should win any PS bid, you could also tack on 2 flechette torpedoes, each could take a seismic or ion bomb or other munitions for fun

I wouldn't take Emon in a tournament

I wouldn't take Emon in a tournament, I don't think you'll have enough damage to dish out with him

Just wait, a certain birdy will be here soon to tell you how awful these lists are (even if they aren't) and offer you the "only" option to run.

Personally, I love the idea of two Firesprays. Boba has to be in Slave One though. For posterity's sake.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I'm also a big fan of Emon but have to concur with Az, he more a fun to fly deal type ship, for a tourney I'd choose Kath as her tricks are equally rear-arc based but don't go horridly awry if you bump or get stressed

I think that's why having at least one bomb to drop before you move might be useful sometimes.
