Hi Members,
Just an intro am not expecting floods of game offers in here. But I am a returning gamer, in fact I was out of the hobby for so long I may as well be a new gamer. Me and all my school friends took up 40k first followed by some fantasy, painted as much as we could to pretty low standard if Im honest but played lots. As late teens approached we all jacked it in but now in my early 30s, over the past year I have done what I have been wanting to do for a while and have took to 40k again. I am just putting the finishing touches to a Dark Eldar 2k list and have just started the model work on the first 1k of the 2k Marine list I have planned. I have a lot more time and patience for painting and modelling than in my younger years and have managed to even get the other half collecting and painting. I am struggling big time finding people, groups or clubs to have games with however, I play games with the other half once in a blue moon and as she is still learning the game and only has a small force the games aren't satisfying my hunger.

Well thats me, pleased to meet you all and please feel free to give me a shout for any reason, not least if you are in the midlands and looking for some games.

Not sure about the gaming scene in burton on trent. But the stone area has a few dakka members.
Newcastle has the Geekbox. cafe come gaming centre, and games at the libraries in the town and clayton on sundays.
