So, my Tau Retaliation Cadre is very close to being complete (just have the drones left to paint). I was thinking of going and playing in the near future, but I'm planning on doing a snow-style base scheme which will take some time... gluing rocks, sand, gravel type materials on the base, either clearcoating or priming the base, painting it, then putting the snow look on top of all of that. While I'm working on that snow base, is it usually OK just to use something like poster tack or sticky tack to hold the models on the bases so that I can go ahead an play with fully painted models while O work on the bases?

Thanks

Why wouldn't that be okay? I play with blue-tacked models most of the time, when they are still unpainted.

I didn't think it would be an issue, but I also had never done it before. So, I figured I'd ask.

Just say they are on a moon with a weird blue gelatinous goop covering the surface.

Or just a tiny blob of superglue.
It's easy enough to pry the models off when you need to.
