Hey guys, so the bug finally bit me. I have taken a dive, head first into the x-wing game. I grabbed a Force Awakens and an old core starter. I also grabbed the following:

Rebels
The Aces expansion
Y-wing

Imperials
The aces expansion
TiE Interceptor

So what is next? I was debating for the rebels an A-wing and perhaps another Y-wing Or E-wing. For the imperials I am looking at the Defender and Advanced TiE. Or should I jump and grab the Falcon and a Decimator? Is the basic TiE expansion worth it or should I just grab the Gozanti with two more TiE's attached to it?

Thoughts?

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

Yest to all three.

Yes to both, but you'll need the Imperial Raider expansion to get the most out of the TIE Advanced.

Yes to both.

Yes.
should I just grab the Gozanti with two more TiE's attached to it?
Yes.

I beleive the answer to 'what should I get next?' is 'all the things'.

Outflanking

Step 1) Buy both Starters- DONE

Step 2) Buy everything available at the local game store.

Step 3) Prowl the Country side looking for the small handful of models that your LGS was sold out of.

Everything. Honestly, you had to know that was coming!

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

So just buy everything.

Unless you're playing in tournaments, just buy the models you're interested in. All the rules from the cards are available on the various online squadron builder tools.

"Good. You have taken your first steps into a larger world."

The next step? Play, play, play.
If you don't have anyone in your house to play with, I'd download the "Heroes of Aturi Cluster"... you can use the ship AI to practice against.
I'd also find or make a 3x3 mat. It's a simple thing, but makes a world of difference.
