It's still worth spending 50 points to make him a Daemon of Khorne. Gives him a 5+ invulnerable from the sides without the ion shield and also in combat. Plus re-roll in # of stomps is always good. You'll get more mileage out of that then an extra obliterator. You could also cut a few meatshield havocs instead.

i think i will do that.

Cut 4 havocs at 52pts to get the Daemon Knight of Khorne.

Is Slaanesh worse than Khorne?

24 AC for 48 Shots. 2 Avenger Gats for 24 Shots. Still not impressive...really underwhelming IMHO. Great thought exercise.

Compared to Eldar Scatbikes...Scat bikes still win... :( So much more S6 shots from scat lasers...Squad of 6 scat bikes get 24 shots... Just 3 squads of 6 scat bikes = 72 S6 shots for so many points less... I just cant beat it...

Slaanesh is useful against a handful of MCs and not much else, Khorne is the best in about every way.

The only way Slaanesh could be better is if you play with it being a "Daemon of Slaanesh" and not just "Aligned with Slaanesh". Then you get faster run and fleet. Juding by the nerfs your group already put in about invis and grimoire I doubt they're playing it like that.

Gawd it sucks that they gotta keep nerfing me because I am a waac player using a weak army with an old codex and doesnt win as much. Its totally legit for them to have gladius, 5 wraith knights, decurion, war convocation, cant think of any other good formations.
