Battle Report from 3Jul15, Tampa, Chaos vs Imperial Navy, 500pt.

Imperial Navy wins, 3-1

Rejoice fellow citizens of the Imperium, for your Naval brothers-in-arms have triumph over the forces of Chaos. On a backwater planet of Hobitizine V, the 777th Naval Support Squadron acted as a rearguard for an Imperial evacuation, blowing bridges and creating roadblocks to slow pursing hostiles. At one of these river outside of a small town 37 brave naval pioneers were engaged by a squad of Chaos Space Marines, a chaos warlord on a demon-like steed, and a frightful squad of plague marines. The brave forces of the Imperium deployed to take cover and high ground, using heavy weapons and indirect fire to cover flanks and the main avenues of approach. Notable heroes are the missile team of Bravo Flight (KIA), who sacrificed themselves killing the enemy Warlord with a well aim Krak missile, SSgt-At-Arms Bragg used his modified heavy bolter to slay and suppress many of the plague marines, while one of his sappers expertly used a grenade launcher loaded with krak grenades to kill the last foul plague marine. The mortar team of Alpha Flight and the Master of Ordinance both forced heavy losses on the Chaos forces. Even though the 777th NSS took about 45% losses, they forced the hostiles to retreat, suffering 95% losses. The Emperor Provides!

-Me: Don't tell the commissar but i left my Imperial Infantrymans Uplifting Primer at home, but I do carry a folded Texas flag behind my front plate.
-Friend: Texas flag gives you AV14 all around.

Jury-Rig - makeshift repairs or temporary contrivances, made with only the tools and materials that happen to be on hand, the Machine Spirit is not pleased......
