This is a concept list, generated from the models that I have lying around. I wanted your thoughts on how I could trim it up, with a focus on minimizing new model purchases. This includes shrinking squads, expanding other squads, or altering exarch gear.
I've got some farseers, a few spiritseers, dark reapers, guardians, an Avatar, and some DE. I could also move the Autoarch on swooping hawk wings.

It's been build around a CaD with four aspect warrior formations.
HQ
Farseer w/ Bike

Troops
5 Dire Avengers
5 Dire Avengers

Aspect Host 1 (+1 BS)
5 Dire Avengers w/Exarch
5 Dire Avengers w/Exarch

Aspect Host 2 (+1 WS)

I'd try to find some space to make those swooping hawks 6-man squads so you can use the large blast marker with their grenade packs.

Don't blanket take the usual +BS/WS upgrades. For example when I play against IKs I give my Hawks +1 WS so they hit on 3s in combat with their Haywire Grenades, combined with their huge threat range IKs don't wanna come close.

Not quite understanding which units are in which host as you have listed 8 with +BS and 4 with +WS which isn't possible.

That's a very good idea. I can play around with the ratios of scorpions/spiders/banshees to get 3 squads of 6 hawks each.

Thanks for the catch, and the suggestion on the +1 WS on the hawks.

Another suggest to add to that is to write your list in terms of what units or in what formations, instead of listing them as "Elites" or "Fast Attack".

Your opponent with thank you if you write the list more like this:

HQ
Autarch w/Bike, Banshee Mask, Laser Lance

Troops
8 Dire Avengers
8 Dire Avengers w/Exarch

Aspect Host 1 (+1 BS)
8 Dire Avengers w/Exarch
8 Dire Avengers w/Exarch
5 Swooping Hawks w/Exarch

Aspect Host 2 (+1 WS)
10 Howling Banshees w/Exarch and Executioner
10 Howling Banshees w/Exarch and Executioner
10 Striking Scorpions w/Exarch and Claw

Aspect Host 3 (+1 BS)
6 Warp Spiders w/Exarch
6 Warp Spiders w/Exarch
6 Warp Spiders w/Exarch

Aspect Host 4 (+1 WS)
5 Swooping Hawks w/Exarch
5 Swooping Hawks w/Exarch
5 Shining Spears w/Exarch and Star Lance

Remove the Howling Banshees completely. Footslogging they will not so a thing to your opponent.

A bunch of spiders and Hawks is valid competitive roster. Sth like 30 spiders is awesome to roll with. Scorpions can do things rest cannot like clearing objectives but it should be pretty good if you get your spider count higher and rearrange Hawks as 6-mans.

Thanks for the tip. I've not played since 6th, so there are some adjustments
This army is one I started creating around 6th as a 'theme' army. As I sold my other armies, this is now the main one I have to work with.

The reason the banshees are in there are due to model requirements. If I had another 20 scorpions, I would shift to them. If I had another 20 spiders and hawks, I would shift to them. Buying another $200 in models is not an option at this time. My budget for army improvement is around $50.
I do appreciate any suggestions that you have.

This is a list of the Eldar I have.
- Farseer *2 (one on bike)
- SpiritSeer
- Yuriel
- Avatar
- 5 Autoarchs of various configurations
- 15 Swooping Hawks (3 Exarchs)
- 21 Warp Spiders (3 Exarchs)
- 20 Howling Banshees (2 Exarchs)
- 10 Striking Scorpions (1 Exarch)
- 8 Shining Spears (1 Exarch)
- 40 Dire Avengers (4 Exarchs)
- 5 Dark Reapers

I also have some DE as well, allowing me to use some webway portal trickery.
- 10 Incubi
- Multiple Archons
- Multiple Homniculi
- 30 Wytches
