So, after much thought and deliberation, I finally decided on a 30k Alpha Legion Legion . This is a set that I have put together for 1000 points, looking for c&c

Alpha Legion Chosen Duty 1000 points

HQ

Legion Delegatus (150 pts.)

- artificer armor
- Power sword
- Refractor Field
- Void Shield Harness

Elites (360 pts.)

Contemptor Mortis x2 (360 pts.)

-Dual autocannons
-Havoc Launcher

Troops (480 pts.)

Legion Veteran Tactical squad (230 pts.)

- 10x Veteran marines including Sergeant
- Sergeant has a power dagger
- 2x Plasma Guns

Legion Veteran Squad (250 pts.)

- 10x Veteran marines including Sergeant
- Sergeant is equipped w/ a power dagger
- 2x missile launchers w/ suspensor webs


What do you guys think of this list? something like this will probably be my core as I build into higher points brackets, swapping Delegatus out for a praetor. Is the void shield harness worth taking at all? I might swap it out for a apothecary to supply fnp to the plasma squad. Any and all C&C is appreciated.

Check out the latest FAQ that was released a few days ago, FW made a change that all the fun "Relics" are for campaign use and should be agreed upon before having a casual game. Basically you need to get your opponents permission to use that void shield harness now. Pretty lame.

Eh. It's a suggestion. 99.99% of all HH (and 40k) players would be jsut fine with it. It's like saying "Oh! you can only use your codex's relics durring specific missions in the book"..... Harumph, maybe I'm bitter about the silly ruling

They didn't actually *change* anything, they merely stated that the Relics of the Dark Age of Technology rules from the Optional Special Rules section of the book are subject to the same requirement of player consent as all of the other Optional Rules in the Optional Rules section, since apparently some people had missed it.
