I want to do a focus Necrosius army with plague marines,zombies and renegades of vraks, fluff and effective.
What do you think of my list?

My 2 squads of 7 marines ( one with necrosius) runs to the midfield. Zombie shamble to the opponent with the goal to tie some units on close combat.
Then the Ordance tyrant attached to the Heavy ordnance battery fires on my zombies if they are in cc with ennemies...
Obliterator aims vehicles with their canon laser. Maybe i want more zombies?

Feels very gun line with zombies. I don't like mutilators. I'd get more marines or flyers

I like it. You have lots of heavy slots, maybe split up the wyverns?

...The whole point of Necrosius is to unlock non typhus zombies not plague marines...U can use plague marines but people take him for cheap zombies.

You don't need the extra crew and militia training and the Ordnance Battery and you should split up the Oblits and Wyverns into single model units since you have the slots (and drop VotLW when you do). And could stand to break up the Zombies hordes into multiple smaller units like 4x25 sized squads.and break up the quad launchers in to 2x2 guns squds

Newest version of Necrosius unlocks Zombies as non-compulsory troops choices, so you'll still need to bring other troops normally. Works well with the Purge Detachment since you can bring the Plague Marines as the cumpolsory choices and don't need a nurgle chaos lord in your primary detachment.

Necrosius will also give his other zombies furious charge (meh). He's not a great choice but seems fun.

Edit: also Necrosius has to be the Warlord go unlock the csm zombies, so he still can't take them like you suggest.

First, Thanks all for your awesome answer!

In fact i want play zombies and renegades with plagues marines, so what are my possibilities?
Typhus is out of equation because Renegade or Necrosius Zombies are better ( 3 pts, etc...)

So Necrosius is cheaper than Typhus and bring Furious Charge to my zombies! Its cool to lead my 2 plagues marines squads!

How employ Necrosius effectively?

Option 1 : Taking Him as warlord in a CAD, this way all my zombies are Objsecur! The counterpart is i need field 2 troops ( Lord of plague condition): 2 cultists squads.... I dont need them... Or i take a Chaos lord and unlock my marines as troops! But do i really need them when i have all this zombies Objsecur? And it is worth the price to spend points on chaos lord just for this?

Option 2 ( the one i take) : Running The purge Detachment, so i dont need troops and i can just Take Necrosius + 2 elites ( my plagues) to fill my compulsory! then i can add my oblits! Sure i cant get value from the rules of purge ( barrage blast,etc...) but its more worth than CAD!


For my renegades, i am ok with all your advice crownaxe but you said me to not take ordnance Battery? I need Some barrage blast to be near my Tyrant, what others worth options are valuable for you ??
