This is the scheme after many days of starting at a different base color and playing with my new airbrush. I personally am very happy with the results so far. Pics are works in progress. The hull is basically done besides the chaosie spikes and stuff as I plan to add them after. Let me know what you think!

Thanks for the comments guys! @Nick the basecoat is a mix i made from vallejo model color intermediate green and Dark Blue, Mixed those with a Higher quality craft paint turquoise to make the color i was seeking in a larger quantity so I could have WAAAAAY more paint to make one batch and it will work for my whole army. If you compared it to a GW color its basically Sotek Green. If you look at the picture below (i know the lighting sucks) The Land Raider was based in Sotek Green, and after realizing that i needed way more paint i mixed mine and sprayed the rhino. So there is a color comparison for you. From there I sprayed a slightly thinned down GW Drakenhof Nightshade wash into the creases in the armor and places that would naturally be darker. I then worked in Temple Guard Blue by spraying at 45 degree angles on most of the armor plates coming from the top to show semi-realistic lighting. After that, same concept with a 1:1 mix Temple Guard Blue and Lothern Blue, to a smaller degree to continue with the gradual color shift. Then the top most areas are Lothern Blue but it was used sparingly. edge highlights are Lothern Blue and then final bright edge is 1:1 Lothern and Vallejo Model Color White. Symbols and the Hydra were done by drawing up my own stencils in thick cardstock and using the airbrush to achieve the shading effects. Hope that helps in your quest to paint some alphas! I'm trying to find a way to incorporate some green hues and armor highlights while not ruining my current paint job. That's what the unpainted rhino is for If you discover anything or paint some models using this scheme i'd love to see them!

EDIT:: TROOGDOR!!!!!
