Has anyone used one? How do you think it could be used well? I really like the model and would love to get it if it's usable

What's not to like?

The only downfall is that it's a relic, so if you want to use 2 or more relic, you'd need a "master of the forge" HQ.

I use one for my Chaos army, works great.

It's a fire magnet and if your opponent has drop pod marines, garunteed to get a melta/combi-melta to the sides.

There is no master of the forge anymore now though, or was it just replaced by the techmarine?

Unofficially, yes, you pretty much just include a techmarine or the next must suitable model based on your army.

Anyway, a Sicaran is a good tank. It's not as good as some people make it out to be, it just seems that way because marines have been stuck with crappy tanks for so long. Of course, it still dies as easily as any other tank, so don't expect it to live long without support.
