So I believe that firing ordinance weapons then means you're snap firing other weapons when shooting with vehicles. The necron reclamation legion grants all units within that formation relentless and move through cover. Relentless states that models count as being stationary for the purpose of firing ordinance weapons. Am I to assume this has absolutely no effect what so ever on the fact that the other weapons have to now snap fire? I assume not. But a friend of mine seems to think differently.

Whilst we're on the relentless path....does this mean ghost arks within the reclamation legion fire 10 shots from each gauss away even though they may have moved due to gaining that specific USR?

Vehicles have relentless in general so getting it from the reclamation legion is redundant.

And yes relentless doesn't do anything for ordnance weapons forcing other weapons to snap fire because A) you still have to snap fire those weapons even if you didn't move so why would relentless change this and B) relentless is very specific on what it modifies and that clause from ordnance is no one of the things it specifically works on.

And Ghost Arks always get to fire 10 shots at 24" range because again vehicles come with relentless.

As stated all vehicles are relentless always. Ghost arks having ordinance weapons is just silly. They could be heavy 10 and it would be the exact same thing.

Ghost Arks don't have Ordnance weapons. Do you mean Salvo? The Gauss Flayer Array on a Ghost Ark is Salvo because that's what fits the description of the weapon.

The weapon may at some point in the future be given to a non vehicle model in which case that Salvo 5/10 would matter. It may be redundant at this point, but the design is left open to other units someday using it.

I would say that was fair if the gun array wasn't about 6 inches long.

I think it was a thematic choice. The array is just a string of gauss flayers and salvo is essentially the upgunned version of rapidfire. To be honest I'm surprised they haven't done the same with hurricane bolters.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

Psycannons come on non-relentless models too; and it fits the old fluff/profile from back in previous editions (when it had "suspensors and could move and fire with reduced range but was heavy or something like that)
