This list is designed to win the local Maelstrom tournament here in Taipei. Typically the amount of terrain is sparse, anywhere from 10 to 15% of the tables have terrain. Deepstriking Gladius with Centurion Devaatators is a big part of my meta, along with lists using a Wraithknight. I think this list has the resiliency to get the job done, and the only weakness is Psychic phase, which isnt a big part of my meta.

Well, that's a fuckload of Soul Grinders. I think you could stand to add in a Gorepack with lots of speedy flesh hounds and bikes for better Maelstrom'ing.

One way to do it would be to remove the Slaugthercult and move everything into a CAD. This means you'd have to lose a Soul Grinder, but on the plus side you could toss the Possessed out too. You should have plenty of points after that to add in a nice big Gorepack.

I thought about using a Gorepack, but in a Grav Dev Cent meta, they dont make alot of sense. You cant jink, and the bikers will die every turn due to Ignores Cover. He also gets to choose when and where to deploy his Cents via Droppod, which doesnt help the bikers at all, not to mention Scatter bikes kill Bikers, but Grinders are immune from the front and sides.

With the Soul Grinders, once he steps out, I get Daemonic Resilience saves, and he is likely in range from a charge or 2 or more Grinders, as he should be able to down 1 per turn. If I utilize summoned Daemons via Bloodtithe, and by turn 2 I should have minimum 3 points, and with good positioning 5+ (getting my characters killed in shooting first), that should be enough to tips the scales in my favot, with the stacked buffs via the Slaughtercult.

Since the new squad comes in within 12", I can always reserve the non Instrument Bloodletter squad to deepstrike onto objectives as well, as the summoned Bloodletters will have an Instrument and Banner, and Blood Tithe spending comes before Reserves rolls.
