It will work better if you split up all the large units into small minimum sized units. I forget how many spots for each type are in the Charnel Cohort but I think you can effectively move all your guys into minimum size units and have enough spots.

Also for the prince, I think the Blood Forged Armour is a must, FNP and preventing instant death from S10 is super awesome.
