Hey new here, looking for some feedback on a list i got. Im gonna be doing a friendly 2v2 game this saturday with a couple new players, so im trying not to make a super meta list. I know, its hard to say that and bring a baneblade, but one of my opponents is bringing a stormsurge so I dont feel too bad. Ill be teaming up with a necron player who uses lots of warriors and wraiths, along with some destroyers, spiders, and a stalker. My 2 opponents will be tau and ultrasmurfs. The tau player is not new and knows what he is doing. He usually brings the maze of mirrors formation(UGH) and lots of drones, crisis teams, and this time a stormsurge. The ultrasmurf player i havent battled yet but I am told he has a lot of just smurfs in rhinos. Anyways, here is the list:

Either dump the Leman Russ or get another. You put a bunch of crazy gak on it and so you can't even use the Battle Cannon without Snap Firing the expensive upgrades.

Maybe try to get 2 Demolishers, maybe get rid of the Medusa. Then you have some scary tanks and people will have to decide to shoot anti-tank at those or the Baneblade. As it stands you don't have many armored threats, so all the AT will probably go right at the Baneblade. Demolisher is slow and short range, but it makes people poop themselves. S10 feths up a lot of people's days.

Edit: Or get more Medusas instead. I realize now my suggestions may not be realistic if you don't own the models! Overall I like it, though it lacks deep striking Grenadiers which I think are the best part of Bloody Handed Reaver.

Ill second the DS Grenadiers, doing that will also save you points because they don't need a transport anymore.

When it comes to tanks, its generally all or nothing in my opinion. most armies will try to have a unit or two for each threat. Not enough AV will get you put down quick, none at all negates the weapons (for the most part).

I usually stick to artillery, but that's just because I like my Earthshakers

DS does sound like a good idea. I usually ally this list with csm and take huron as my warlord so that i can get the infiltrate warlord trait then i have my renegades infiltrate and scout, but without that, DS sounds like the way to go.

A Leman Russ Conqueror with the same upgrades is 150 and won't be snap shooting the other weapons after firing turret. Highly recommend it. Saved points go in increasing zombie blob by ten.
