Hey, folks!
Wanted to share with you a project that we've been working on for over a year now, and to ask for your support, to make it a reality!
Here's our Kickstarter page

The Guards of Atlantis is a competitive, team-based board game inspired by computer games of the MOBA genre (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena).
Players are divided into two even teams. Each player controls a single hero using a hand of five cards, which are replaced and upgraded as the game progresses.
Each team’s goal is to help their minions (non-hero units, which are not directly controlled by the players) to reach the enemy’s base (called a “Throne”) and destroy it.
One thing we’d like to mention right from the start is that it doesn’t really matter if you are familiar with the acronym MOBA. Rich tactical choices and extensive strategic planning of your character’s progression will be just as enjoyable to you as it will be to a video game veteran.
The cards act as both your character’s "Action points" and “Health points”. You play cards from your hand to activate your hero and discard cards to defend from attacks. And you only get to replenish your hand at the end of the round, which means that there’s an element of Press Your Luck in there.
Your success in battle relies heavily on your decisions. Do you use that card to attack? Do you keep it in your hand, so that you could defend better? Or would you rather use it for movement? You have to compromise.
At the same time, you have to think about your opponent’s choices. You have to plan ahead. You have to predict. There’s a small portion of luck here, thanks to the simultaneous card selection.
The game uses Area and Hex-Grid movement, which allows heroes to join battle quickly without sacrificing the tactical depth of hex-based wargames. Hexes are used for close-quarter combat while Area Movement allow players to freely reposition their heroes when there are no enemies nearby.
The mechanics are streamlined as much as possible without limiting tactical options. There are very few actual rules to remember – the diversity comes from the card text. This is why both hard-core and casual gamers enjoy the Guards of Atlantis.

If, still not sure, there is a free Print&Play version available for download. And if you have any questions, please, ask ahead, I'd be happy to answer.

Looks interesting, a friend of mine were just talking about how strange it was not to see a table top version of MOBAs. I want to see how those actual models turn out though, as I think a lot of interest in the game will hinge on those.

We are manufacturing with an industry veteran LUDOFACT, who are the manufacturers for all of the Cool Mini Or Not games. So the miniatures will be of the highest board game standard.
