The lynx and wraithknight are both gargantuan / super heavies. Not sure if your area allows you to take more than one(mine dies not) or how your store feels about playing apoc units in regular 40k(as the lynx is not 40k approved fw, just apoc stamped). But either way, this is wierd, you've taken pretty much just the big things and a couple of eldar units and then devoted the rest into am. I can understand wanting to be unique but eldar are just so much more point efficient that if your going to ally them it really has to make sense for synergy(DE allies for example) or your really just trying to force two armies together with units you like and are going to end up a scattered mess(Jetbike pun XD)

I guess my main point is that even though I like a lot of am units, they are just not ideal allies for eldar. Expect to lose to more efficient lists.

Ahhh okay it was just a whim actually the lynx is now no longer a superheavy thanks to the new Forgeworld book, it is also 150 points cheaper

Do you prefer the lynx or the pulsar? I am leaning pulasar in general because if I jink I can still fire

If you're playing in a meta that allows the Sonic Lance - take that in a hot minute. Ignoring cover on D is practically insulting.

I run typically in the ITC rules, so the weapon is disallowed. Now that the vehicle is no longer a Super Heavy, it can suffer explode and or snap firing results. You'd be wise to toss on a holo field and spirit stones.

I can't speak to the list at large as Astra Militarum is out of my scope. The Eldar side feels a bit anemic but I don't see any gaps.

unfortunately the sonic lance isn't strength D, it is still pretty good, always wounds on a 3+ and is ap 2

I think you are thinking of the warp hunter

No the sonic lance is what he means, it will shred all, ig ore the "D" facet and just realize what exactly dies to a hellstorm torrent auto wound 3+ AP 2, you will get a lot more out of the sonic lance. Their is a reason the sonic lance is banned in itc. And if you notice in the doom of mymerea, the eldar corsairs are their own race with their own FoC. Eldar have their own section right after. Sadly this means you cannot swap out corsairs units just cause they better. Think of them as harlequins or dark eldar. Adeptus mechanicus and skitarri might be better example actually, Similar but still different. You could still take the lynx but unless it's with the corsairs than its still a super heavy at original cost. As a note this also means you can't take a skathak wraithknight in a normal eldar list just cause you want inferno lances xD

There are actually two lynx entries in the book. There is a Corsair Lynx and an Eldar lynx so you can take one as a heavy support choice

I know there are, what I'm saying is that eldar:corsairs are their own book. Think khorne demons and chaos deamons. Super similar but you can't take a unit from one in the other. You need an allied detachment of corsairs to field the corsair lynx is what I'm saying. You Can't just put the corsairs lynx in an eldar list. I know their names are super similar but just remember that corsairs: Eldar are a different army.

There are two entries in the book the first entry is part of the Corsair army list that one I cannot take without an allied detachment.

However, after the Corsair army list end there is a section called "Eldar Engines of Destruction"

Included are a set of data sheets for other units that can be fielded by any eldar army. Such as the wraithknights the corsairs cannot take, warp hunters, Revanant titans etc. None of these are attached to an army list. They are not grouped together but separately (think IA Aeronautica)

As such they can be taken by any eldar army in the slot specified by their datasheet. The lynx has a heavy support tag and as such can be taken by any eldar army.

Since the entry isn't part of a larger rule set (like DE, Corsairs) I can take it as a heavy support choice.

The lynx can be taken by both Corsairs and Craftworld Eldar. Further it seems that ForgeWorld has stopped making the Sonic Lance version so the Pulsar is the only version available for new buyers. But even so i would still go for 1 or 2 with Pulsar and then a Skathach Wraithknight with Deathshroud cannons for my Hellstorm templates.

Pask as your HQ is just asking to be killed in ITC. He will evaporate to drop melta and grav. I would lose Pask and get more infantry to hold objectives, maybe veterans in chimeras. Competitive ITC is viscous when you start to go up against gladius, war convocation, tau, and other really mean lists. I would go all eldar, allying in guard doesn't necessarily give you anything great. Eldar > IG, without being battle brothers you can't really buff them.
