Subject: Looking for CHEAP alternative to Imperial Knight model - Very open minded

I'm talking Transformers, Some kind of North-American-Style Mecha, a Robot with a gun for an arm... I'm pretty much open to anything. The catch, is that I'm looking to spend about $ 40 - $ 50 CAD. So about $35 USD, or about 25 Pounds.
Any suggestions? Nothing is ridiculous. Anything Robot-like, roughly 6-7 inches tall, or that could be "crouched" to fit that height would be perfect. I would love a link, if possible.
Thanks!

Just go to Toys R US and pick a toy that you like of approximately the right height. Should be pretty cheap.

Thanks for the suggestion!
The Titanfall figures I found are all about 12" tall, so a bit big for my purposes, but otherwise perfect! I'm going to keep looking along those lines.

Cool looking alternative knights and a decent amount cheaper as well.

I was thinking of using the smaller - what's it called? Gachapon? Gachamon? - version as an Epic Reaver. I should've done so when they were still around on ebay.

Thanks for the ideas!
Leviathan would be perfect at half the price, but I'd forgotten all about Pacific Rim! That would probably suit my purposes. Right height, some even come with guns and swords... Excellent.
Still looking at other ideas, thanks again!

ebay up some second hand transformers. I'm sure if you sent sellers a request asking for the size they'd oblige.
Alternatively look for gundam models. Gundam is an anime based around mechs, so there's a huge range of choice in their looks.

No specific suggestions.
In the UK the Pound shop type stores sometimes has Transfaker toys which can be tall. Maybe take a look around your local dollar stores (I assume Canada has these). Also try second hand / charity stores to look at toys (maybe even some large robot miniatures if you strike gold).
If you enjoy hobby and like a challenge, have you considered designing and scratch building your own counts as?

Thanks Guys,
I did check out the Dollar store, and even picked something up... but It looks pretty damned corny once I put it beside a proper Knight. I knew it would... but I gave it a shot anyway. The best part is that it's so cheaply made that all of the ball and socket joints started breaking apart when I tried to move the limbs to get a squattier pose.
I've never tried scratch building, but I don't think I'd be good at it. Too finicky for my taste, plus all that design time. :(

Hulkbuster Iron Man armor, available in 12" and 18" in your price range. Then get an appropriate sized toy or model gun to replace one arm.
