So the guy at the shop are planning a narrative campaign and I've been working on something fluffy, fun and a bit of a headache. Thus Far I've come up with two lists with some help form a close friend and now i'd like a little feed back and ideas to improve it.

I like the first like bc of the avenger. I like the secon list bc 3x5 man with flamers. Hah. Might be with it to drop the inq to a stock chump.

Not as fluffy, not as "im coming to get you, shove this angry hammer up your ass and spin you like a dreidel ..... heretic"

But it should give you enough points to fit more guys. So, its bodies vs fluff it seems. Though, like I said, 3x5 man and 1x flyer sounds well rounded

See...I agree but it won't add more then a couple marines. Not enough to give them any extra strength..I could however drop the power swords and the multi melta off the sergeants and crusader to pick up some extra marine models.

Nah, Is say take the first list then. It looks pretty mean. Your pods and radier have to work in conjunction to be effective. The lisks should clear the path for the LRC, open targets or generally support the actions of the marines and LRC,

Well my other option is to drop the Avenger and take something to replace it like a Dreadnought for anti-air..or a Hydra and then fill in with maybe a pair of chimeras for the vets or add some more men to the pods. My biggest concern with both lists is the lacking number of models in the pods. I'm afraid they will go down to quickly

If you're taking an inquisitor like that, you may as well use the rules for Coteaz! You lose the 3 skulls, but gain the awesome seize-the-initiative re-roll and a mastery level (plus a bunch of other more situational stuff)

I'd find the points to give those veterans autocannons at the very least to allow them to contribute to the battle. Bolters on the sergeants are also a good shout at 1pt each

I'm not really sure of the thinking behind the drop pod marines with power weapons. Surely they will just deep strike and get shot before they can charge? I'd load them out with melta guns and melta bombs before power swords! Or just use those ones with the flamers for dedicated anti infantry perhaps

If you have a free heavy support slot, I'd find room for a wyvern to compliment those basilisks - they're just so cheap and effective vs so many targets

After Soulgrinder and i spoke i tossed a list together and your suggestions Doom are honestly really good...i'm a guard player so..swords in pods...was a bad idea i do like the melta though i'll post a revamp list here shortly and i'd like your opinion on it.

Ok...because i am evil...I dropped my two ten man squads to 8 each with a flamer a piece and.....removed the Crusader...Added a Spartan...for giggles..
