So this list will predominantly be based upon combatting Tau and Necrons and relies on my seekers transporting my 2 MC's to cover for a safe deepstrike. Here is the list below, I'm not sure if I have kitted out my Heavy Support, and HQ. The Greater Rewards are aimed at getting more defensive capabilities, similarly with the Psych levels (Invisibility, Shrouded and Biomancy etc)

HQ

Keeper of Secrets, Psych Lvl 2, Greater Rewards -215pts

Troops

15 Daemonettes - 135pts
10 Bloodletters - 100pts

Fast Attack

10 Seekers of Slannesh, Icon of Chaos- 130pts

Heavy Support

Daemon Prince, Psych Lvl 1, Warpforged Armour, Greater Rewards - 220pts

So you plan on keeping your MC's in reserve to deep strike off the non-existent Seekers' Icon?

I say non-existent because you mentioned "anit-Tau/Necron" and even at 800pts, 10 T3 models will not live past 1 turn against those armies. ESPECIALLY if they know anything about Daemons.

I would refocus on just 1 MC (the Daemon Prince) and use those extra points to beef up the Seekers. I know the Codex says 5 is the minimum for Seekers, but that is a typo. 20 is the minimum...maybe 18.

Oh, and outside of KDK, bloodletters are junk. More Daemonettes!!!
------------------------
Try the points on this (don't have my book to run points right now):
Slaanesh Prince--Wings, Armour, 2x Greater, 1x Lesser
if you want to be a psyker it should be LV3 or nothing

2x 12-15 Daemonettes with Alluress

18-20 Seekers

Agreed, that daemon prince needs lvl 3 big time.

About the seekers, they can out flank I believe, and if you have them come on outflanking you can then immediately deep strike your daemon prince on their icon as they won't be damaged yet. However reserve rolls can and will feth that up.

Other than that gimmick, if I was an opponent and saw your squad had an icon with the dp in reserves, I would focus on it and try to cause the dp to mishap or at least scatter out of his poor 12" range. Ideally you would deploy him on the table behind blos terrain, and swoop him turn 1 into range of your unit of choice. Bonus points if you can get in range and stay gliding while placing yourself in a position that limits incoming damage to your dp. This will allow you to charge if you need to at any time.

It's hard to make a good daemon list at low points levels. However if played right, with the right powers and rewards, that daemon prince can take most of the opponents army himself.

i m sure any good Tau/necron player cant lost with that list, too fragile and not fast enough, unless you draw invisibility anytime
and you never fail to cast it and with only 3+d6 dice i dont see many chances you can cast it easily. anyway 800 points is a no sense format so maybe my analysis is wrong

The DP doesn't have wings? Ouch, I don't think there's really a reason to run one without wings ever, you'll get more out of the KoS than a walking DP.

Slaanesh Princes are fast, but not that fast. Also the Greater Reward for the Lash of Despair (or whatever it's called) works well if he's flying so you can pummel gak. Works even better if you have ML3 and roll for Iron Arm.

I think trying to run 2 MCs in 800 points isn't going to work, since instead of having a scary MC, you have 2 half-assed MCs that won't do much.

Here some revisions

HQ

KoS - Greater Rewards, Psych Lvl 2

Troops

10 Daemonettes of Slannesh

10 Bloodletters of Khorn

Fast Attack

10 Seekers of Slannesh, Icon of Chaos

Heavy Support

Daemon Prince, Warpforged armour, Daemonic flight, Psyche Lvl 1, and Greater Daemonic Rewards

How is that?

may i ask a thing? did you use slaanesh for invisibility? because that is main reason to use that mark if you dont have warp charge enough better use Nurgle DP and greater demon
you would try

KOS 2 greater 3°level
herald of Sl 1 greater exalted locus of beguilment 2°level
herald of Sl 1 lesser 2°level
10 demonette
3 nurglins
10 seekers
7 WC and at least a chance to take invisibility and cast it on seekers KOS have 2 greater for better protection i think you should consider to play at least 1000pts anyway

I chose Slannesh for speed and damage (rending) he is also one of the more interesting gods lorewise, his units can be kickass and cheap too

When building an above 1000 point list would it be better to include belakor the dark master? Or some heralds of slannesh?

if you play at 1000 pts you can try improve the list adding another unit of seekers for example, Be'lakor cost 300 pts you need at least 1500pt list to make it works properly

I have a few screemers I can throw in to even it all out to 1500 points, belakor would be an amazing addition with shrouded and invisibility, add that with a daemon prince and keeper of secrets amd I have an amazing psychic list
