Subject: Fire Prisms or Falcons as WK replacment?

I am looking for opinions on what a good replacement would be for a WK in friendly games where my opponent has no answer to a WK. For the points, I can field 2 Fire Prisms OR 2 Falcons. I'd prefer to run them as a pair (but separate units) and do not what to run 1 of each.
The main use I have for my WK is turn 1 anti-tank duty. So keeping with that, the Falcons will have a Bright lance
I like the Lance shot from the Prism, but it is only 1 shot. The Falcon having three S:8 AP:2 shots will be more reliable at dealing hull points, but will have trouble against AV14.
Thoughts or alternative suggestions?

You could always run Wraithguard in a Star Engine Serpent. That kills anything but Greentide (and you already have Scatterbikes for that)
There is always running more Scatterbikes too. If you hate AV14 though, the dirt suggestion will correct the problem. Not sure what AV14 you fear though.

Leman Russ & Battle Wagons and to a lesser extent, AV13. I need a reliable way to deal with those turn 1. My WK is usually good for that, but I want to have a back-up in case they don't want to play against the WK.
Wraithguard can't do this turn 1 and if they don't want to play vs a WK, they probably don't want to face Wraithguard either.

Do you have anything that needs to be transported?
The brightlance falcons are shooting 3xS8 shots, one lance. Not bad for stripping HP. But against heavy armor, only the brightlance shot is going to do much.
The fire prism only gets its one shot, but against tanks that’s going to be S9 lance. Better range as well (not that the falcon needs to be in knife fighting range, but it might come up)
If your primary concern is multiple hard targets, I’d go with the prism. If you are only worried about maybe one AV14 target, and then softer light/med targets, HPing things out with the falcons might be a better option.
For secondary targets, they have different focuses. The brightlance falcon is foing to be better vs. TEQ and MCs, due to a high volume of high S, AP2 shots. The prism gets to toss pie plates to cash MEQs in rolls. Does you list overall need help with one of those targets?
From a looks POV, I’m quite fond of the falcon, not that either is a shabby looking tank. But all things being equal, “what looks better” makes for a decent tiebreaker.

My lists vary depending on whether I have allies or not. If I don't have allies I field an aspect host with 2 units of Hawks and some Dragons in a serpent. My 2 main allies are Venom spam Dark Eldar or GKs with double DreadKnights
In any of the above cases, my core is always a mix of 4-5 units of Shuricannon bikes and Scatter bikes, a Crimson Hunter, Farseer skyrunner and a WraithKnight.
In general, I don't feel lacking in anti-horde or MEQs thanks to the bikes. Even though I still have the Crimson Hunter, the WK is my go-to Turn 1 tank popper. If I had some infantry to fit into the Falcons, they would be the clear choice, however, my Eldar loath to set foot on alien soil (my Fire Dragon always burn their boots after a battle)

I hear you about the dirt. Getting mud on you is for lesser species.
I’d probably go Falcons from what you’re saying about your list. Unless you routinely face an AV14 wall

Falcons it is! The only time I really worry about high AV is when facing Knights or Necrons, in which case I will just keep the WK.
Thanx!
