Was wondering if anybody has done any convertions on the snap fit space marines? Any chapter will do. Picks or links are most welcome.

I did some a while ago. Mainly head and weapon swaps. They're not the easiest minis to convert but it can be done.
My honsou conversion started out as a snap-fit marine, although only the legs are left of the original.

Sorry about the terrible paint jobs on most of them. They were some of my first minis.

Those look great , in the process of getting 15 spruces of 3 marines for R30 a sprue, they go for R130 a sprue, so it's a big saving. Planning on painting each model a different chapter, so wanna make each one as chapter specific as possible. Need to get hold. Of some different weapons and such to make moulds of.

These are dark vengeance, so not quite the same models as what you are getting, but fairly similar. The beakies were bolter marines before conversion.

another bolter marine here

and here

Probably not the direction you want to go in, but shows that you can make something substantially different to 'bolter in front of torso' with snap fits if you have spare parts and some basic hobby tools.

Very nice, yea I am gonna be taking each chapter and basically delve into they're fluff, if for example say space wolves like to use combo Flanders and they wear capes, I will try and incorporate those elements into that model ( plus the paint job off course ) chapter icon on the armpit and such. But does make me more confident.
