Subject: Alternative Scenario for OP 3

Since Temporal Cold War 3 seems like it might be a little crazy, I decided to draft a scenario to offer as an alternative option. Please let me know if you have any suggestions! The Debris tokens are the Debris tokens from one of the Dominion War OP kits.
Cat and Mouse
During what was meant to be a routine mission, a special anomaly has caused significant trouble with your fleets warp cores. Repair teams have begun work fixing the issues, but an enemy fleet has entered the area as well. Navigate the debris field to avoid their fire while you teams make repairs!
SET UP: Each player receives 3 debris tokens. Beginning with the player with initiative, each player alternates placing the debris tokens until all six are placed. Player then set up as normal.
• Debris Tokens: Debris tokens must be placed outside of Range two of the player edges, Range 1 of the other edges, and at least range 1 from each other. They have the following effects:
o Ships attacking through the debris tokens roll -1 attack die.
o Ships defending through the debris tokens roll +1 Defense Die
o If a Ship’s maneuver template passes through a debris token, roll an attack die. On a hit or Crit, the ship suffers 1 damage. Fighters and Shuttles may re-roll this attack die once.
o If a ship LANDS on a Debris cloud, place an auxiliary power token beside the ship, and that ship cannot perform any actions, including free actions, this round. Then roll an attack die as above.
Fleet Restrictions: Players are limited to only One mine upgrade (Cloaked Mines, Anitmatter Mines, Etc.). Players are allowed 100 points for fleet construction, only one fighter or Shuttle.
This will be the first event at our location (that I am running) that allows fighters. We also are not planning on getting the Blinds in (for some reason my store is getting shafted...), hence the 100 point limit vs the 90 point limit.

Sounds fun. I think it's a good idea to limit the mines/fighters they can both be abusive. One of my stores is having trouble getting their blind ships too not sure what is up. They showed me the distributor page and it just says "limited" but doesn't say how it's limited and won't let them order it. They are going to call the Alliance rep and see what's up. You know that brick only costs $79 and people sell them for $180-250 on ebay, despicable

Price gouging at its finest... I love capitalism!
I wanted to limit mines ESPECIALLY in this scenario because of the Debris clouds: A cheap mine layer fleet could easily force opponent ships to choose between mines or losing actions... I want maneuvering, I want disruptors and Phasers lighting up space, I want there to be strategy!

I left out a major part of the deal, which was the maneuvering rules:
All ships begin play with a Crit marker beside them. While the Crit marker is present, the following rules apply-
-The ship may not select a maneuver with a speed greater than 1.
-During the Action step of the activation phase, the ship may give up its action to roll an attack die. On a CRIT result, the Crit token beside the ship is removed.
-Each time after the first time the ship takes the above action, it gains +1 attack die on the roll.
We ran the Scenario as a test run, and it seemed to be kind of interesting and fun, but nothing super different.
