Are the keywords on warscrolls listed anywhere else, with more information about what they mean and what they do?

I was looking at some Death faction warscrolls last night (that Malignant starter set is calling to me), and I don't have clue how their keywords would affect them in-game.

They don't directly. Certain abilities or rules only affect units with certain Keywords.
For example, some scenarios offer bonuses to models with the TOTEM keyword, the Bloodsecrator's portal ability only affects models with the KHORNE keyword, Stormcast Protectors get special damage rules against models with the MONSTER keyword, etc. etc.

Think of Keywords as a classification system that describes alliance, faction, race, type and name.
