Hello everyone! Having seen Apologist's truescale Ultramarines over at Warseer, I've always wanted to start a truescale army of my own. The Age of Sigmar Stormcast Eternals provided a really good substitute for the Terminator legs Apologist has been using, which is good for me because my sculpting is nowhere near as good! Anyways, here's some pictures of the squads I've already built up.

Really fits the aesthetic of the Blood Angels.

Would these fit on 30mm bases?

I'd imagine you'd need to weight them but it'd be interesting to see.

Sadly, no. The Stormcasts are surprisingly huge, so I use the bases that came with them or Terminator-sized ones.

Here's some more minis I've been working on.

Thanks! Here are the photos of my first painted squad, Tactical Squad Dantalion.

Seen in a rare pict-capture, Brother Idraephon advances through a recently cleared combat zone. Note the elaborately modified armor that adorns Idraephon's body. Like all Blood Angel successors, the Angels Encarmine inherited from its parent chapter a penchant for artistic expression. It is not uncommon for Brother-Marines to spend hours sequestered away in their chambers carving outstretched wings or teardrop sigils onto their warplate. Some even go as so far to heavily modify the aesthetics of their protection so as to better embody the perfection of their Primarch, Sanguinius. Besides the familiar teardrop wings, Idraephon has also been allowed to decorate his helm with a golden crest, signifying his devotion to honor and duty. The metallic scale tabard he wears identifies him as a native of the feral world, Agrellax. Due to their active and crusading nature, the Angels Sanguine are stretched far and wide over the greater galaxy. As such, they do not possess a sole recruiting world of their own. Instead, individual companies select initiates from the various theatres they are involved in. The 5th Company, of which Idraephon belongs to, has been fighting a drawn out war against the disparate Ork clans inhabiting the Torallian system for two centuries. Agrellax, the 3rd planet within the system, has provided a wealth of potential recruits for the Chapter for several decades. Such is the importance of this planet to the health of the Chapter, that some customs from the feral world would inevitably cling on. One such tradition is the hunting of the dread saurians that are Agrellax's natural predators. The last step for a promising Scout-Marine to earn the Black Carapace and a place among the Battle Company is to descend to Agrellax's jungle surface and slay the largest saurian he can find. Once the task is complete, a piece of the reptile's hide will forever be a part of the Marine's heraldry. A reminder that despite the transhuman perfections Sanguinius's geneseed will grant, one must never forget the humble roots he came from.

Power sword at the ready, Veteran Sergeant Asariel of Tactical Squad Dantalion prepares to unleash a burning gout of promethium from his hand flamer. The golden hue on his helm signifies his right to wear Terminator Armor and his place among the chapter's veterancy. Across his chest is the familiar half-wing and teardrop sigil of the Angels Encarmine, a decoration that can only be earned through gallantry and courage on the field of battle. Note the particular equipment Asariel wields. Unlike more Codex-compliant chapters, the Angels Encarmine equip their Tactical Squads for close combat rather than long range firefights. While the Red Thirst is one of the prime motivators for this unorthodox change, the other reason lies in the nature of the foes they fight. Orks will not break in the face of superior firepower, no matter how heavy or how fierce. They will, however, break in the face of a shock assault, where savage melee combat reigns supreme. As such, it is not uncommon for Tactical Squads of the Fifth Company to be seen plunging into the fray alongside Assault Squads and Vanguard Squads, boltguns spitting in one hand, long Astartes-grade combat knives in the other. In Sergeant Asariel's case, the Angelius-pattern power sword he carries is more than enough to see him through such engagements. A master swordsman, Asariel has won renown recently for his feat of single-handledy carving a bloody swathe through a Warboss's Meganobz retinue before planting his blade hilt-deep into the chest of the Warboss itself.

Brother Eumedes prepares to throw a primed grenade in support of his advancing brothers. Freshly inducted in Tactical Squad Dantalion, Eumedes bears little in the way of heraldry or honor-markings, except for the golden wings adorning his right shoulder pad. Gold is a sacred color to the Blood Angels and their successors, and here it is used to illustrate Eumedes's high promise as a initiate. One of the top recruits recently granted the right to wear Power Armor, Eumedes has chosen to offset this honor with a sign of humility in the form of a simple studded left pauldron to complete his war gear. It is on the shoulders of promising young warriors like him that the future of the chapter rests and the eternal crusade of the Angels Encarmine continued.

Seen in the same pict-capture, Brothers Calignes and Baradiel of Tactical Squad Dantalion move to support their fellow squad mates in clearing a greenskin occupied position. The gemstone-inlaid decoration dangling over Baradiel's boltgun signifies half a century of meritorious service in the same squad. Note the longer-than-regulation combat knife strapped to Baradiel's hip. The close-ranged nature of the Angels Encarmine's combat doctrine means that melee combat is almost a certainty in most engagements. As such, almost all brothers will have some form of close combat weapon by their side in the case the need arises. Marching alongside Baradiel is Brother Calignes, who wields the squad's heavy weapon into battle. The majority of Tactical Squads in the Angels Encarmine forego equipment that needs to be stationary to be effective. Lascannons and Plasma Cannons are the domain of heavy support elements and very rarely will they be seen outside of Devastator Squads and the armored hulls of vehicles. The Sons of Sanguinius favor hard-hitting, mobile weapon platforms, where when combined with their heightened aggressiveness, will most often than not tip the scales in their favor. In this case, Calignes has chosen to bring into battle a Flamestorm-pattern heavy flamer and stands ready to bathe the Emperor's enemies in holy promethium.

The vehicles of the Adeptus Astartes are both war engine and relic alike, and the Razorback accompanying Tactical Squad Dantalion into battle is no exception. Its armored body has ferried Space Marines into the heat of combat for centuries and alongside its hull are stitched battle-honors that would make a First Company Veteran's accomplishments look paltry in comparison. Destroyed and reforged no less than seven times in its long service to the chapter, the Spear of Telestro carries what the Fifth Company's Techmarines categorize as a particular rambunctious machine spirit. Its pilots report instances of the vehicle propelling itself directly towards the enemy despite no previous instruction from the driver. Whether these reports are true are a subject of debate among those in the Company who are well-versed in the arts of the Mechanicus.
