Hey guys,

Trying to find a consistent mini wargaming group in Lakewood Colorado. I am currently playing Warmachine/Hordes, Malifaux, X-Wing, have a slew of Fantasy/Age of Sigmar stuff I haven't decided what to do with yet, and plan on starting Infinity very soon.

Been tough with Dark Matter Games and Bonnie Brae now closed. I used to play Warmachine and Hordes down at Colpar on Sundays but that has died off.

Mainly looking for weekend gaming groups, but have nothing against playing on the week days if the location is close.

You try at Adventurer's Quarter? Their X-Wing play seems pretty solid.

Yea, I played some Malifaux at Crit Castle. Those guys are great! It is just a little further away than I would like.

No, I haven't heard of Adventurer's Quarter. I will definitely have to check them out. I haven't lived here in Colorado too long, so I am still hunting for a good homestore.

Thank you guys for the suggestions.

So I saw a place in either Colorado Mills or Golden, can't remember, that looked like it had a Tuesday Night Malifaux group. I saw it on Google while browsing stores but I can't find it again, if anybody knows what the place is called I would be very grateful.

Piggy backing on this thread. Does anyone know when/if they do 40k at Crit Castle?

I will ask my buddy tomorrow for you, he plays there more than I do. Have you checked out Denver Central Games? Last time I was there, there was a pretty strongĀ 40k crowd. And, if it isn't too far for you, Colpar Hobbies in Lakewood has a pretty good 40k crowd most Saturdays from what I hear.

And, for you guys who are interested. There is going to be a slow grow Malifaux league starting next Saturday at Crit Castle. Even though it is definitely out of my way, I plan on going.

I heard that they got a new Henchman at Crit Castle who is really trying to get Malifaux to take off there. I think it is a $5 buy in, and they already have the prize support for it.

Bad news Colgado, my buddy said that he has never seen a game of 40k played there. It is mainly a Warmachine and Malifaux store now for wargaming.

But, my buddy is willing to meet somebody there to play 40k though.

There is a group that plays 40k at Atomic Games West on Sundays I believe. I'd go, but I'm busy on Sundays usually so I rarely make it out.

You can usually find a game of 40K at the East Colpar (Havana and Jewel) on Sat nights. They usually start 4 or 5ish and run up till midnight.

That crew also has folks that play Infinity, Warmahordes, Xwing, and Armada.

Denver Central used to have a pretty good 40k crowd, they might still be in business?

I've played 40k a couple times at Atomic. Great group of folks there. Looking forward to playing again once I get some stuff put together.

Oh, does anybody know of a place or group that plays Dark Age? Been thinking about jumping into it, their miniatures quality has skyrocketed recently, and I do love me some Brom artwork.

Oh man I love Dark Age... actually I haven't played it since maybe 2011 or 2012... I think they might have changed some rules about that time or a little later.

I ran Forsaken. I'll try to find the facebook groups I belong to but there was one wargaming one for Denver and I believe there were some Dark Age players on it.

What are the models made of far Dark Age? Are the newer releases pewter, plastic or metal. I have been really impressed with what I am seeing.

Last I checked they were still using metal.

Great, thank you!

Does anybody know of a store or group playing Guild Ball? My buddy and I are thinking of picking it up and I have read the rules, but would love to see a game of it being played.
