Morning all
There has been a change in the chaos grand alliance section on the GW webstore, due to the release of the Chaos battletome. The plans for Chaos are now evident- there are 21 'armies', ranging from big factions like Khorne Bloodbound, to Thunderscorn consisting of Dragon Ogors and Shaggoths. You can concentrate on one army or mix them up to make your Chaos force. IMO, they should do this immediately for each Grand Alliance, even if models are not available, so at least players know what their faction will look like down the line.
Any thoughts on the change? Anyone going to go for one of the smaller armies?

Shouldn't this be in the AoS thread?

I get the feeling that the destruction alliance will be fragmented in tons of little subfactions since its a bit low on that and has loads of different units and flavours.

GW have learnt the lesson of not having a physical product to attach a name to, but a bit mystified by the other point - there's nothing to stop you mixing alliances in your army, let alone factions - so you could and still can take whatever you want in your force.
