depends on the opponents list for me as a csm/daemon/space marine player

It depends on a lot of things. Sometimes it's the Flyrants, sometimes it's the Venomthropes and Malanthropes, sometimes it's the Zoas or the Carnifex or even the Tervigon. Only constant I see every single game is people gun down my Mawloc the moment it arrives in fear of it coming again. Which is why I prefer to mishap.

Hive Tyrant or Tervigon (if they are smart and you are playing swarm style).

When playing against nids, I prefer to use the IG's propaganda line, 'Shoot the big ones', except that nowadays I go by, 'Shoot the synapse!'

Mawlocs. They already eat 1 squad when they come on. I'll be damned if I'm going to lose two Black Knight Squads if I can help it.
