Hey everyone!

Been reading through a few introductions and they seem really cool so here is mine!

I am a 29 year old friendly male from Newcastle upon Tyne. Ive collected WHFB on and off for about 15 years. Unfortunately because of never really having a group of friends who also collected warhammer because being from a rough area people didnt really collect minatures when i was young and never thought it would go down well i was too embarassed to discuss it with anyone. I also never had the confidence to go into a GW and find someone to play I found the hobby quite lonely at times and just collected the minatures to paint. As always being a geek at heart I've decided to hell with it and stop being embarrassed about it as it's something I've always enjoyed so I should embrace it instead of being so bothered what others think.

Since the release of Age of Sigmar and settling down with my partner and step son I want to be able to give him the many years of enjoyment I got from Warhammer as I believe it's a great tool in honing art and sociable skills from a young age. My step son is only 4 years old so I want him to grow into the hobby.

I decided I would give this one final push and hopefully will stick to it this time and have the confidence to attend my local GW store in Newcastle for weekly games.

I have decided on starting a High Elf force from age of sigmar and I'm extremely interested and excited. I have the high elf force from the island of blood set with Teclis and Dragon Princes of Caledon as additional purchases. Once I have my force based and painted I will be looking for other friendly folk like myself to play against so would greatly appreciate anyone who plays locally to send me a PM and can hopefully organise a game. I would always regret never actively searching for friends or opponents to play against whether it's finding them on forums like these or in my local GW store!!
