Hmmm, I see what you're going for with MSU, but I've found ravenwing to do better in larger groups. Anyone who's played against the ravens before is well aware to hit our shrouds with ignores cover right off the bat, so placing one in a speeder squadron is a good idea for protecting it. That and interceptor with typhoon and strafing run is hilarious. I personally like to run that squadron with 5x speeders with AC, HB combination for more firepower.

I find that one of Dark Angels best protections is our Psychic powers. You see the super Gargantuans with their Hellstorm templates, just make them snapfire for the turn. The Leadership bomb abilities are also really strong against a lot of different units.

No command squad?

Having at least an apothecary in a semi-deathstar is nice. Also having a character with some hitting power may be better than so many black knight squads running around.

IMO, the squads of black knights may struggle because they are smaller and don't have the hitting power a larger unit with a character would have. Like I said, it could work. If it does, let us know so we can try it ourselves.

A squad of 6 Black Knights with a Interogaor Chap or Chap would be quite a strong on for the army honestly. I have an all ravenwing army that I run currently that does really well.

The value of Black Knights is not so much their plasma but their hammers. And yes an Interrogator-Chaplain in a full Ravenwing Command Squad threatens almost every unit in close combat and can Hit and Run away from the rest.
