So I read the following months ago: http://www.3plusplus.net/2015/10/the-nemesis-strike-force-detachment-pt-2-the-list/
I readily believed it considering to come from a respectable source, and employed it with much success. All seemed well until I recommended this same tactic of using Void Claws to guarantee Grey Knight NSF Detachment rolls right away from turn 1. The person I recommended it to, went and read the reserves rules which seem to NOT support this tactic as it seems to require ALL reserve rolls to be made at the same time and arriving units deployed thereafter 1 by 1.
Maybe I missed something, maybe there's a link that makes this all legal but after reading the reserves rules it just seems to be a bad piece of internet advice from 3++
I consider the people here to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to rules so thought i'd ask you for your 2 cents on this matter.

You cannot move on reserves until after rolling all reserve rolls. Very clear in the reserve rules the sequence that is followed.

I'm curious as to how the writer was deep striking the Void Claws formation on Turn 1. Or do they have that ability as well?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

they are required to start in reserve, re roll their own reserve roll and arrive from turn 1.

Why not just take a Aegis Defence line with a Comms Relay and a cheap Inquisitor? Functions the same way, and it's vastly cheaper than 265 points of terminators. For the same point cost, you can get...
Make the Xenos Inquisitor your Warlord and anything but a 1 is a good result, with "Reader of the Tarot" being the best result for extra manipulation of reserve rolls.
Give him a Conversion Beamer for long range firepower (something GK lack) and x3 servo skulls for 1D6 deepstrike scatter and more accurate Conversion Beamer shots. Add the The Tome of Vethric if it suits the enemy you're facing. Make him a Psyker and choose Psychic Communion, now you roll for reserve on a +2 that are apart of the Nemesis Strike Force. Now add x2 Jokaero Weaponsmiths for more long range firepower and their special ability "Inconceivable Customisation", and 4x acolytes for wound allocation. All of that for the same price as 5x lightning claw terminators that grant a reroll option and otherwise fill the same roll as regular Grey Knight terminators.

This is all great advice. Except for the Psychic Communion part. You might want to update your Inquisition Codex as all Inquisitors with PML1 must now roll randomly on Sanctic, Divination, Pyromancy, Telekinesis, or Telepathy disciplines.
Though if you're lucky Scrier's Gaze has some reserve manipulation and Prescience is still sorta decent as far as primaris powers go.
I also like to add 3x Heavy Bolter or Plasma Cannon servitors to this unit, btw.
