Hi all.

I have recently done major changes to my man cave - adding lots of shelves and other stuff to try to keep the place in order.
To celebrate that I now, for the first time since the late nineties actually am able to find stuff I will try to maintain a Painting & Modelling blog.

First up is a Blanchitsu-conversion, called Hannya (an assassin with a Noh-inspired facemask), that I started yesterday.









As you can probably see it is heavily inspired by the excellelent "Samarielle" by Baiyuan.
The conversion is almost ready for painting - although I would really appreciate some tips...

That is one creepy looking assassin, very well done. This is probably on your todo list but the GS hair over the upper right arm probably still needs some smoothing/straightening in order to merge properly with the rest of the hair. But that is just nitpicking really, she is going to look fierce once painted.

And as someone about to start building his own, congrats on the mancave !

As for the "Hannya", the conversion is done and I have started painting it:



Have spent almost two hours painting and I think it is starting to show my intensions.
Not sure about all the colours (might change the horns to metal, etc. - have you guys/gals any suggestions?

So, after approx. 10 hours spent on the mini I present the (almost*) finished Hannya:



*Will probably repaint the brass parts of the gun, highlight the bodyglove, add more gish to the base, etc.

Eager to start with my Rogue Trader Big Game Hunter contribution for the Ammobunker monthly theme (for February).
But, as it is still January I instead focused on things to hunt, with inspiration taken from, among other things, Dark Heresy - Creatures Anathema and Rogue Trader - The Koronus Bestiary.
