I'm building a Chaos Warrior army, and before I build it I want to know which base sizes to get (i'll be individually round based), which units I can use in KoW etc... but I can't find the Varangur (that's the name right?) list on the Free Rules page? Is there a separate download page I'm missing?

Nope, the Varangur are only in the seperate Uncharted Empires book. You can find the units on http://kow2.easyarmy.com/ though.
As to basesizes: everything apart from sons of Korgaan is on 20mm, SoK are on 25mm. So theyd be your warrior/chosen equivalent.

Alright, thanks!

...unfortunately, it seems that all the unit base sizes are too small to use with the newer Age of Sigmar round bases. For example, Chariots come on 120x92mm, Knights on 75x46mm... which means they'd be too big for KoW. That certainly sucks... no idea what I'll do now. I really want this army to be playable in multiple systems, including KoW. I don't want square bases but I thought I could round base them and then use movement trays. Was really looking forward to it :(

Ah, using round bases... yeah, thatd be pretty difficult to pull off. Though iirc, the Varangur list doesnt have chariots anyway, so theres that... cavalry though... hm. Tough one. Two models on a regiment base are going to look kind of... eh. :/

AFAIK I can't even fit two knights on there because their bases are 75x46mm and the KoW cavalry size is 50x25mm... Unless I put them lengthwise on the movement tray in which case two Knights would be = 6 Knights in KoW

Because basing doesn't matter in AoS I'm personally mounting my infantry on 25mm rounds regardless of what they come with in AoS and I have conversion trays so my regiments are generally just 12 models (4x3), troops are 8 models (4x2), and hordes are 24 models (8x3).

My cavalry are all mounted on 40mm rounds so my troops are 3 models, regiments 6 models, and hordes 12 models.

That would probably be the best option, yeah.
(and I did say *regiment*, not troop. Makes it even more ridiculous though. <.< )

I love the way the models look on rounds. Still not sure if I'll multi-base units only found in KoW like my Lizardmen riding Rhinodans (or whatever they're call). I'm tempted because it would make for easier storage but at the same time I want them to be able to set up with the rest of my army if I put them in a case and take them out of their stands.

Decisions....

If all of your bases are too big, maybe just use the Ogre army list for them?
