Hey All,
I have a HUGE amount of Dark Angels, and looking to expand to a new army, while paying practically nothing. With that, I'm looking at a fluffy Fallen Dark Angels army that devote themselves to Tzeentch.

HQ - Deamon Prince (GoM, Wings, Mastery Lvl 2, Power Armor, Mark of Tzeentch) - 280pts
HQ - Sorcerer (Term Armor, Dual PF, GoM, Mastery Lvl 2) - 162pts [The Dual Power Fists is just for fun] - 167pts
TROOP - TSons (Sorcerer with FS & MB, 9-TSons, Rhino with CB & Havoc Launcher) - 322pts
TROOP - TSons (Sorcerer with FS & MB, 9-TSons, Rhino with CB & Havoc Launcher) - 322pts
HEAVY - Land Raider - 230pts
Formation: (425pts)
Fallen Champions:
Cypher
Chosen - (Champion - GoM, PF, PP / Group of 4 - 3 x PG, 1 PP & PF)

Total - 1746pts

The idea would be to stick Cypher and the Chosen in the Land Raider with the Term Sorcerer, drive around, unload tons of Plasma shots on things. The Deamon prince flies around casting spells, and the 2 TSon squads go around grabbing objectives.

I have all of the models to make this work minus the deamon prince, so I'm just curious to know what people think.

Don't forget spell familiar on your daemon prince. Maybe squeeze points for a Black Mace or Spine Shiver Blade (BL) on it? I don't know how fallen would turn into Rubrics though...

You won't be able to join the Sorcerer with Cypher and the LR unfortunately. According to the official FAQ:

‘An Independent Character without the Infiltrate special
rule cannot join a unit of Infiltrators during deployment,
and vice versa.’

So you can't join infiltrators at deployment. Maybe just take off his Terminator Armour, cut one of your Thousand Sons and put him in a unit.

What if I just choose to keep Cypher and his chosen in standard deployment? Can I then put the Sorc with them, and have them all start in the land raider?

well, you can. But it requires getting the appropriate warlord trait and rolling well enough to give the sorcerer and land raider infiltrate.
