Hello
So got a tournament coming up and looking to try Khorne Daemonkin. I've put a list together. I was hoping I could get your thoughts on it.
Plan is lord and herald in Hound unit and other hound unit shields
Possessed run up behind a rhino
Maul fiends bound along as well looking to tag team bigger threats.
Bikers outflank
Cultists grab some objectives.
Run the Bloodletters hope they dont take to much shooting FNP blood tilthe should help them a little.
Questions
Is the lord a bit to pricey, can he be made cheaper but do the same output.
Combined the dogs? or 1 big unit 1 small? or leave as is?

Looks good I think. I'd go back to Magma cutters on the maulerfiends, and cut the combi meltas on your bike champs. They usually ride out front and die first so I would save the points.
I'd try for another min pack or flesh hounds if you can squeeze put more points. Blade of Endless Bloodshed isn't too necessary.
Also I think 5 Possessed in a rhino is 185 isn't it?

I wouldn't bother with armour/sigil on the Lord (just the 15 point 5 invuln one) - he is going to have a lot of protection from being with the khorne hounds.
One loadout I like is putting Goredrinker + power sword on the lord.
Goredrinker is not specialist so pairing with sword gives him +1 attack. He gets the choice of attacking at init ap3 with the sword. Goredrinker gives crazy bonuses when his wound count starts going up and these apply weather you use the sword or not in combat.

Thanks for the advice.
I was thinking of changing the Dogs unit is 12 and 9, 12 to take the lord and herald in, Maybe I could twig the points to have two packs of 5, or is that just not worth it.
I like the lord lay out you suggested, I guess i have to beat up some soft squishy unit fist before taking on big guys.
I'll experiment with the maga cutters, I always though tendrils were the way.
How will the lord deal with knights?

I usually give the lord melta bombs in case he gets in a fight with dreadnaught or something before Goredrinker powers up
I also run him with atleast 15 hounds

That looks like a decent list to me but I'd suggest a few small changes.
Lose the combination melta on the bike units and maybe even just go down to 1 melta each in the units. With min units it's likely some of them will die before getting a chance to shoot.
I'd also recommend a Goredrinker for the Lord. You won't be able to take the blood forged armour as well but you can take a Sigil instead.
A better combo with the Goredrinker is an LC. You lose 1 attack compared to taking a sword but the LC has shred and it's unsaved wounds that you need to boost the Goredrinker tally.
Also take a combat familiar to help with the Goredrinker tally.
I'd normally split the hounds into groups of 5 if they are on their own but if you're attaching the Lord and Herald to them I think groups of 10 is wise.
