Alright, guys. I just had an amazing game at the store. My opponent is a veteran Tau player and the last time I played against his Tau, it was in 6th edition. In that 1000 pts game, I decimated his entire army in 3 turns. It was all over when the Commander unit rolled double 6s on their Morale Test (after losing a guy and some Drones) and fled off the table. Now the Tau are back with their new shiny Codex and they are hungry for vengeance. We both agreed beforehand this was going to be a competitive game.
Last time I played this list, it was a slug-fest. My Deathstar won me the game after sitting on the Relic for 3 turns in a row. Not even the Riptide Wing could dislodge them. It was also hilarious because I was playing turtle even though I have more points at the end. I hoped this one would be more action-filled.
Here is my list:
Pyschic Friends:
Grey Knights Nemesis Strike Force:
Librarian - ML3, Liber Demonica, Warlord.
5 x Termiators.
Dreadknight - Teleporter, Nemesis Great Sword, Heavy Incinerator.

4 x Marker Drones.
5 x Pathfinders.
6 x Fire Warriors.

Skyray.
Tau Combined Arms Detachment:
Darkstrider.
6 x Fire Warriors.

If people are complaining this is not competitive enough, this is still pick-up games at the store, so don't expect anything that can go into Tournaments. This is competitive compared to what is normally going on at the store.
More details are coming up...
