Is it possible to mix squads chosen from a mixture of different supplements and their parent codex within a single detachment?

e.g. Could one include Crimson Slaughter Possessed and Black Legion Chosen in a Chaos Space Marines detachment as they share the same faction?

After reading the various books I am a little confused so please show your working.

The detachment itself comes from the supplements. So, you take a CAD (or whatever) from the Black Legion supplemental rules with the CSM army list.

It actually says this in the supplement for Black Legion. “Note that you can only use the options from one codex supplement when choosing a detachment.”

Thanks for pointing that one out. The text in the BRB had me confused.
