The Broadside Bash is back again. The Broadside Bash 7th annual event will be held April 29th, 30th & May 1st, 2016 at the San Diego Crowne Plaza in Hotel Circle, San Diego, CA and is part of Kingdom Con 2016. For more information about Kingdom-Con please visit their www.kingdom-con.com.

The Broadside Bash is a 2-day GW-style GT hobby tournament, held annually, at Kingdom Con in San Diego. The 'Bash features the Kings of War, Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40k game systems. The Broadside Bash is a hobby gaming event, where your generalship and winning games is just a part of your overall score. Equally important are the soft scores of painting and sportsmanship.
For the first time we will also have a Horus Heresy tournament on Friday to start the Bash off. The HH tournament is 2500pts using the Age of Darkness force org chart. The HH tournament is free to anyone with a Kingdom-Con 1 day or Full event pass. There is no additional charge for this event.

But in all seriousness, I think it is worth pointing out that army comp is no longer a thing and this event will be using ITC army construction rules/missions witch is a good thing IMO. However, is the scoring remaining as it is with 17, 11, 7 for win tie loss, respectively or will you also adopt ITC scoring?

In all honesty I run the fantasy side. I will ask and let you know. I am running the HH event though.

John Macomber announced that this will indeed be an ITC event.
In all fairness, this has been an awesome event in the past and while many tournaments have come and gone, the Broadside Bash has withstood the test of time. I would be in attendance myself if I wasn't over 2000 miles away. (Although IMO, they really need to add a 9th Age Fantasy tourney.)

Joshua Death won overall
Thomas Hegstrom took 2nd place
Julio Rodriguez won Best General
James Carmona won Best Sportsman
Quentin Ponath won Bilge Rat (Overall lowest score.
It was a great tournament and we, the organizers, want to thank everyone who attended and look forward to see y'all next year.
