Normally I'd shy away from most KS's that have gone on recently. I've been working on my own D10 based rules set and had in mind much the same thing as this person. The Polyversal KS uses NO NEW MINIS, not one. All the minis are already being manufactured. Some are Dropzone Commander minis. I figured I could work eventually to get my rules printed out professionally and do a KS for that and use minis from other manufacturers. Looks like someone beat me to the punch. Check it out.

They have been working on these rules for 4-5 years, and started planning the kickstarter 2 -3 years ago.

The system seems pretty versitile and adaptable. Only issue I see, is the goal is too high since they want a starter with minis to draw in people who are used to miniature games that come with minature. But it is pretty much a ruleset gamers game

Now that, ..is a very clever way to present the firing arcs on a model data[whatever].

Is it unique to this system, because I cant say I've ever seen it done up like that before?

We have been saved by disobedience." - Robert G. Ingersoll

It looks to be almost exactly like an emaciated version of Striker II from the pdf preview.

It is nice they are seeing some success, but it looks like another reinvention of the Wheel.

Thanks for taking a look. I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have. Also, we'll be previewing more of the full game soon in a new video- specifically the orders and activation system, battlegroups formed by the hex tiles, units out of command range and what happens, and more.

The PDF and video of gameplay to support it is of course a very stripped down version of the game to give people a quick feel for combat resolution, etc.

I also replied in a separate thread in this forum to clarify a few things if you're interested.

We've added some exciting new updates. Here is a summary and link to each of them.

Update 7 adds a few Typhark Tanks to our boxed games for the UN, axes Milestone Rewards, and provides photos from 4 full games at a local convention.

Update 8 provides first impressions from players of the game at a local convention last weekend.

Update 9 is an introduction to creating your own Combatant Tiles for use with the game. Video intro by Ken.

Update 10 previews a bit more of the story in part 1 of 2, from the UN perspective.

Update 11 provides new options for boxed games. You'll now be able to choose what goes into your box from among 4 options total-- chooose 2-- UN A/B, OPFOR A/B (any combination). In addition, you can influence the "Option B" lists right now until we lock them down in a couple days.
