Hey everyone,

I've done lots of reading and can't get a definite answer, so I put it to you... A basilisk has a minimum range of 36" however it has the barrage rule the way I understand it is barrage doesn't have/doesn't care about minimum range so it can fire it's weapon regardless of this?? But then there are other answers that say it can fire over open sights I. E. Like a big battle cannon at the enemy... which if either is right? And is there a simpler way to understand this lol!

Thanks in advance

It depends on if you are firing directly or indirectly

If you are firing directly (you can draw LoS to the unit) you can ignore the minimum range and also reduce the scatter bu BS

If you're indirectly (shooting at a unit without LoS to it) you must adhere to the minimum range and will scatter fully.
