as a new member i want to introduce my self. i am playing 40k over 12 years now. my profession is 3d artist so i like to show you some of the 40k fun art that i am doing from time to time
here is my first model that i want to show you. one of my carnifex painted little different than usual. its scanned with photogrammetry and recreated to a 3d model. i hope ypu like it!

the hardware setup is simply, just a slr camera with 24 Mpixel and my PC. for software i had to make the original scan in photoscan by agisoft, then zbrush to reconctract some missing parts and then 3d studio max to project the color to the final model. all the process took me about 3 days, my plans for this is to make a final model that i can animate, i have a project that i want to make if i have time with miniatures came to life and fight. here is a small test combined real video and 3d model:
