Hello! I've been over at Warseer since the days of Portent, but between interest in the project log section drying up(only a couple of people seem active over there now) and the forum going down unexpectedly over the weekend, I thought I'd stop lurking here and start posting.

So, I've been in the hobby since, oh, around 1991, was first introduced when a friend gave me a box of Rogue Trader Beakies as "Try these instead of yet another Spitfire model" gift. Since then I've built and sold many armies, including 2 separate marine forces, an eldar force, a high elf army and a bretonnian army, as well as having a go with Epic both in the Space Marine form and the more recent iterations. Currently I have dark angels, Imperial Guard, a few random sisters of Battle and Inquisition troops, some orks, and an old fantasy chaos army I built back in 6th edition which I don't have the heart to sell! I've played most gw games at some or another, along with messing around in various others such as flames of war and war machine, and am very partial to board games of all types.

I'm mostly here for somewhere to run a project log on my current stuff amd get a little encouragement and advice. In the past I've been prone to long periods of having little activity, however my daughter (17months- I'm a stay at home dad with mummy off at work most days) and I now have an agreement which is seeing my productivity improve!

Dakka has amazing painting and modelling sections. I've been lurking a little while myself and it's a great forum for a log.

I think the URL in your signature is missing an = sign.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum
