Hello.

If I have an Ethereal in my army and he accompanies some Firewarriors from a Hunter Cadre, I am curios to know how the Invocation 'Zephyr's Grace' and 'Ambushes and Feints' work together.

Here's the wording of both:

Ambushes and Feints:
"Units from this formation that are within 12" of this Formation's Commander or Cadre Fireblade at the start of the shooting phase can Run or move Flat Out and then shoot in the Shooting Phase. Each unit must complete both actions before you move onto your next unit - otherwise the chance to make the second action is forfeit."

Invocation of the Elements:
"At the start of each of the Ethereal's Movement phases, choose one of the four elemental powers listed below to invoke. The Ethereal, and all friendly non-vehicle units with the Tau Empire faction within 12" benefit from the effects of the elemental power until the start of the Ethereal's next Movement phase. If the Ethereal is slain, the elemental power ends immediately."
Zephyr's Grace:
"Affected models can fire Snap Shots after Running."

Does this mean that
A) My firewarriors can run, snap-shoot AND then shoot normally?
B) My firewarrios can run, shoot normally and then later in the phase may snap-shoot at someone?
C) My firewarriors must choose if they want to make a normal run move (after which they'll be entitled to make snap shots later in the phase) or a special run move which would grant them the normal shooting attack immediately afterwards?
D) My firewarriors may make a run move and then may choose to either fire immediately, or may choose to make snap shots whereupon they can afford to do so after other units have finished their shooting actions?
E) The same as D except if the unit chooses to make snap shots it must be done immediately after the run move?

First, there is no option that lets you snap shot later in the phase. Each unit activated must complete all of its shooting before moving to the next unit.

Therefore I would say the superior form of shooting overrides the weaker. Neither rule lets you fire a gun more than once and neither rules grants the unit the ability to fire more weapons then they could normally fire (ie infantry can fire1 weapon per model). So you run, and then shoot a single weapon per model as snap shots or full be your choice.

Choose wisely.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I'd go with C. Both special rules say "can" not "must' which allows for some choice in the matter.

Neither ZG or F&A contains an exception to the general prohibition on shooting twice so A and B are both out.

i'd say you can choose if you fire Snap shot's Or if you fire with your normal BF.

Both kind of shootings occur immediately after the unit used 'run' and in both cases the shooting is done then. there is no way t odelay that shooting. after you selected a other unit for doing stuff the (snap) shooting is gone.
