Subject: How Expensive Would Paragon Blades Have to be to stop Being Auto- Takes?

This is a thought experiment of mine that came about from a conversation with a friend of mine. What are our thoughts, dakka?

I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature. |

I say 40 or 45 points.
realistically, they are power axes without unwieldy, so I figure 45 is a good stopping point to have that I: 5 goodness to have more though behind choosing it.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field. |

I asked a friend this afternoon what he thought and he said he would still take them all the time if they were less than 50 points. I tend to agree but I imagine far fewer MC paragon blades would be taken in the 40-45 point range.

I would have to say over 50 points. And even then, I'd probably take one. It's just too good not to have on a melee character.

I never said they should be more expensive. Its just that they are auto- takes at 20 points so it kinda mutes the feel you get from praetors who have a half billion options when everyone always tales the same few. I just wondered at what point they'd be good but not auto- take
