I play Orks, and deal with alot of Vehicle Explodes! And other Randomly Allocated wound scenarios, and do infact take the time out to allocate them randomly with a d12 dice. Yesterday's game had a Wierdboy have wounds allocated from a Flamer hitting my opened topped vehicle. I just took the wounds, killing him.... but I thought afterwards, could I have Look Out Sir'd them? At the time I thought not but now I have my doubts...

Yes, you Los when a wound is allocated. Random allocation, to my mind, doesn't alter that.
