Hi all,
I tried searching but to no avail. I have decided to buy a betrayal at calth set to boost my army as building it like I wanted to only using despoiler marines with chain axes and bolt guns is turning out to be too expensive for me to finish my army any time soon. Could someone please tell me exactly what weapons, and how many of each weapon, are included in the BaC set?
I need to know so I can plan any additional purchases.
Thanks,
Ed

“Because we couldn’t be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We’ve all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we’ve all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have a discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher’s Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn’t behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time... |

So, pretty much enough to build men wielding:
10 bolters
1 plasma, melta, and flamer
1 heavy bolter
1 missile launcher
1 Chainsword/power sword
1 lightning claw/power fist
1 plasma pistol/bolt pistol
1 combi-weapon (plasma, melta, flamer)
10 combat blades
And 10 bodies to equip these on.

I thought as much. I'll probably end up just buying the tactical squads on eBay rather than buying the whole set as I have no use for the HQs, the Dreadnaught looks terrible compared to the FW ones and if I add terminators at some points in the future I want them to be red butchers. Plus I probably won't use the rest of the set. All I need is 4 of the tactical squad to add to the 5 guys I already have from FW and I'm good to go with 3 squads of 15
