In short, you take 3 Land Speeders with whatever weapon loadouts and a Dark Shroud or the Vengeance (ideally the Shroud, for reasons below). They all act in a squadron, and get rerollable cover saves via Ravenwing, but the DarkShroud gives them Stealth and Shrouded, so a 2+ Jink or a 4+ normal. That's nuts, but they also get Interceptor, Strafing Run, Overwatch, Grim Resolve (so BS 2 Overwatch) and can Overwatch if someone charges your RW within 24".

Is this combo as awesome as I think it is? I mean, the amount of firepower is crazy. I'm thijnking of going the shooty loadout, so a Heavy Bolter/Typhoon ML on each Land Speeder and a Heavy Bolter on the Dark shroud. It wouldn't do well against heavy armor, but should mulch through most stuff, especially if you throw prescience or perfect timing on them. I believe the Shroud also has Scout?

Yes. It IS that good, probably the best thing in the DA codex.

The Shroud has shrouded for itself only and gives off Stealth to nearby units but yea, it's a great mini formation.

It does seem super good. The only hesitation I have is that jinking for the sweet sweet 2+ rerollable is that you're snap firing those expensive typhoon launchers the next turn.

But shrouded confers to other models in the unit. So the speeders get Shrouded, and the Shroud gets Stealth.
