Hey guys, I'm excited to start playing some games next week with the guys from my local shop. They have kindly agreed to be patient with me as I learn the game (so far I've just been playing matches myself or a couple times vs my roommate.) Here are some Rebel lists I've been thinking about:

Fonz-wing

Tycho Celchu (35)
A-Wing Test Pilot
Veteran Instincts
Push the Limit
Proton Rockets
Autothrusters

Jake Farrel (33)
A-Wing Test Pilot
Veteran Instincts
Push the Limit
Proton Rockets
Autothrusters

"Dutch" Vander (30)
Twin Laser Turret
R2 Astromech

Triple "T"

"Blue Ace" (28)
R2 Astromech
Integrated Astromech

"Red Ace" (33)
R2-D2
Integrated Astromech

Poe Dameron (39)
Push the Limit
R5-P9
Autothrusters

Three B's

Keyan Farlander (42)
Push the Limit
"Mangler" Cannon
Fire-Control System
Engine Upgrade

Blue Squadron Pilot (28)
"Mangler" Cannon
Fire-Control System

Blue Squadron Pilot (28)
"Mangler" Cannon
Fire-Control System

I've been having fun with a triple T-70 list so far. Not convinced yet that it's the bomb. But it can be powerful unless the dice really hate you.

Realizing I don't have enough Mangler Cannons for the B list, I've re-worked it a bit into this:

Tycho Celchu (35)
A-Wing Test Pilot
Veteran Instincts
Push the Limit
Proton Rockets
Autothrusters

Keyan Farlander (40)
Veteran Instincts
"Mangler" Cannon
Fire-Control System
B-Wing/E2
Kyle Katarn

Blue Squadron Pilot (24)
Fire-Control System

Would it be better to drop Tycho to Jake and then swap the Blue Squad's FCS for a cannon? Or even use Jake and then take an Ion Cannon?

Take Ten Numb with Mangler and VI or take Keyan with Opportunist and HLC.

Losing Kyle and upgrading to Ten Numb makes him 38 points

Plus your Tycho build, gives you 73. 27 points left to play with.

I recommend Biggs with R4-D6 or Hobbie with Targeter + Integrated Astromech on whichever you decide you like.

Biggs gives your late game aces a better chance of surviving the initial volley from a jousting list like Howl and Crack Squadrons or TLT spam. Hobbie does the super k-turn jive.

A Gold Squad Y-Wing with TLT and R5-D8 is another option for 27 points that might be worth considering.

I think Biggs is the best option and it gives you a 1 point initiative bid in case you run in to Poe with a pretty stacked list.
